County Monthly Law Enforcement Report February 2012
During the month of February 2012 the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s
Department Dispatch Center received calls for service on a total of
1,586 incidents for the municipalities of Androscoggin County. The
Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department investigated 707 incidents,
as a result of these calls they investigated 28 accidents, stopped
134 motor vehicles, and physically arrested or issued criminal
summons to 41 people. They transferred 100 incidents to the Maine
State Police and 39 incidents to the Lisbon Police Department to be
handled. The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch
Center dispatched the Fire and Rescue Departments to101 incidents.
They also dispatched the Sabattus Police Department to 171
incidents, the Livermore Falls Police Department to 276 incidents,
and the Mechanic Falls Police Department to 181 incidents. Attached
is a breakdown of the statistics by municipality for February 2012.
Maine State Police was responsible for responding to complaints in
the Municipalities of Livermore, Turner, and Minot during the month
of February and we do not have their statistics.
The following statistics are the number of incidents that
were reported through our Dispatch Center either by E911, regular
telephone lines or radio.
