1. Androscoggin County Jail - Full-Time Corrections Officer (Link to employment page)

*Attention Full-Time Certified Corrections Officers.*

We have immediate full-time openings available with lateral transfer compensation of up to 8 years for your previous experience. Starting pay range from $16.45 an hour to $20.15 an hour depending on your experience plus education and shift stipends. We offer 12 hour fixed shifts (nights or days) in a fifteen day work rotation where you will have every other weekend off and be compensated for a 42 hour work week plus overtime opportunities. Androscoggin County offers family health and dental as well as 25 year Maine State Retirement Plan.
