County Rural Patrol

County Patrol is comprised of deputies who work hand–in–hand with citizens, businesses, towns, and other government agencies within the County.  County Patrol has 2 Deputies patrolling the County 24 hours a day with 3 Deputies on the weekend during the summer time. 

 

The Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies are also a part of the COBRA Team which is a Regional Weapons of Mass Destruction and Hazmat Team that is made up of Lewiston, Auburn, Lisbon Police, Auburn Fire Dept. and United Ambulance. The Team has 24 members that respond

to any Hazardous Material Incident in Androscoggin County and provides back up for the other Teams in the State.
